How I Earn Money From Home As A Freelancer

Since this is my first ever post on this new blog, I wanted to make sure that it is helpful to all of my kababayans in the Philippines who wanted to know how to earn money from home.

This post is very timely since the new excise tax has affected the way we live now in the Philippines. Gas prices have skyrocketed, grocery prices have also increased and heck, even Jollibee's value meals have increased!

With all these financial changes happening all around us, we should know how to earn a little extra money for our daily necessities. Because let's face it, the income that we get from our day job isn't enough to support our family on a monthly basis anymore. What about your needs? Your need to relax, travel, dine and wine, and what about those shopping impulses that you get every time that Lazada or Shoppee ad pops up in Facebook? Where are you going to get that money for all these things that you want for yourself and your family?

Many Filipinos, myself included, have joined the freelancing world in the hopes of increasing their income or totally replacing their day/corporate jobs.

As for me, I am currently working as a Virtual Assistant and solely earning money from home through Upwork.com. I have been a home-based worker since 2008 and I have been earning dollars from the comfort of my own home while being a full-time mom of 2 kids.

I am paid by the hour and I earn dollars which I get to transfer to my local bank (Banco de Oro) hassle-free.
